Growing your own vegetables can be an easy way to cut down on your grocery bill while controlling what types of fertilizers
and pesticides are used on the food you eat. Most people are amazed at the variety of plants that they were able to grow on
their own in this climate.
We carry a full line of seeds and seed-starting supplies to help you get your own plants started in the spring. For those who
prefer something a little more instant, we carry large quantities of 6-pack veggies up to one gallon sized plants.
We supply a full line of organic fertilizers and pest controls for growers concerned about affecting their environment. We also have
a wide variety of manures and other soil amendments to add nutrients to your soil.
Fruits & Nuts
If you don’t already have the pleasure of enjoying fresh fruit and nuts from your own backyard, come in and select one of
the many fruit trees that GardenWorks carries, and soon you too will be able to harvest your own. Look for varieties of apple, pear,
plum, cherry, peach, apricot and nectarine, as well as the popular grafted 2, 3 and
varieties for preserving or eating fresh.

As you plan your gardens choose from dwarf, semi dwarf or standard trees depending upon your spaces. The combination trees,
as well as peaches, apricots and nectarines are in high demand so be sure to come in and select your trees early! Our staff will
be happy to help choose the right fruit tree for you!.
Pick up a helpful information & pruning pamphlet and our staff will be happy to give you some simple
pruning tips for the tree you choose. We can also provide information on pollination and pest control.
If you are interested in our small fruits come in and see our variety of berries and grapes. These include easy to grow
raspberries, blackberries, strawberries, currants and many others selected for the Okanagan climate.
